It was with this philosophy that Bar Carolina was fashioned (est. 2017). Through its iconic azure windows, passersby glimpse crisp-shirted waiters striding down the restaurant’s catwalk, balancing elegant plates of cucina with inimitable Italian charm.
In the dining room, faces are familiar and ready to impress. Brightly-toned cocktails flurry from the bar. Silken sheets of pasta slip from the Monferrina. Embers spark in the Josper as smoke unfurls over glistening coals.
And this spectacle is performed with tangible gusto all week long – to the gentle hum of jazz over lunch, and to a crescendo of Italo disco at the weekend.
